Professional Profile & Marketplace Policy

Marketplace in force since 18 June 2026 updated 18 June 2026

1. Salon profile (Business Profile)

Each salon has a professional profile on the Marketplace. The salon is responsible for the accuracy of the information it publishes and warrants it holds the rights to the content (text, photos).

2. Professional profile (Master Profile)

A salon can create profiles for its professionals (e.g. hairstylist, nail technician), with a portfolio and a specialty. The professional receives their own rating, calculated from verified reviews about them.

3. Publicly displayed information

  • Salon name and description.
  • City and service area.
  • Photos and service portfolio.
  • List of services and indicative prices.
  • Rating and verified reviews.
  • Optionally the professionals and their specialties.

4. User roles

5. When a client is a Marketplace client

Definition. A client is considered a “Marketplace client” only if all three conditions are met: they discovered the salon via Bellisy, booked via Bellisy, and paid via Bellisy.

  • Found via Bellisy + booked via Bellisy + paid via Bellisy → Marketplace client, commission due.
  • Came from the salon’s Instagram, WhatsApp or Google → 0% commission.
  • Came by referral or direct call → 0% commission.
  • Existing salon client → never any commission.

6. Marketplace commission

At launch, the commission is 10% on the first service of a new client brought by the Marketplace, charged once only. Subsequent visits by the same client are not commissioned. This rate may change for new sign-ups as the Marketplace generates more clients; any change is communicated in advance and does not apply retroactively.

In case of cancellation before the service, no commission is due. The commission is tied to a service actually performed and paid via Bellisy.

7. Salon obligations on the Marketplace

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Honour the advertised prices and services.
  • Not divert Marketplace clients off Bellisy to avoid the commission.
  • Comply with the Review Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Personal data and profile removal

Profiles may contain personal data (professional’s name, photo). The salon warrants it has obtained the necessary consents. A salon can remove its profile from the Marketplace at any time; verified reviews already published may be kept in anonymised form for statistical purposes. Contact: dpo@bellisy.fr.
